Workshop Manufacture
Your staircase is built in our workshop to the agreed specification. Every joint, profile and component is made to last.
Delivery & Dry Fit
We deliver and perform a dry fit on site to check tolerances and alignment before any fixing. Problems are resolved before they become permanent.
Installation & Finish
The staircase is fixed in place, balanced, adjusted and finished. We leave the site clean and the staircase ready to use.

How long does a bespoke staircase take?
From design sign-off to installation, most staircases take 4–8 weeks depending on complexity and timber availability. We'll give you a realistic timeline at the quote stage.
Do I need planning permission for a new staircase?
Internal staircase replacement generally doesn't require planning permission, but it must comply with building regulations for rise, going, headroom and balustrade height. We design to comply from the outset.
Can you refurbish an existing staircase?
Yes — we can replace individual components (treads, risers, spindles, newels, handrail) or completely overhaul the structure, depending on what it needs. Much less disruptive than a full replacement.
What timber do you recommend?
Oak is the most popular choice — hard-wearing, beautiful and available in a wide range of profiles. For painted finishes, moisture-resistant MDF or pine is often a better and more cost-effective option.
Can you match my existing staircase profile?
In most cases, yes. We can source matching timber profiles to replicate or extend an existing staircase so it looks intentional rather than patched.
